This listing is for the photographed acrylic painting on stretched canvas. It is approx. 9 inches by 12 inches and features a BOLD red sky with lots of stormy clouds & flashes of lightning, a large moon, & some stars, all of which excentuate the silhouetted scenery that showcases a tropical climate with a small river, palm trees, and cacti. This scene is one that I created during a heavy storm one day, a few years back now, & is still a favouite of mine. I enjoy combining sceneries with whimsy & this piece is no exception - While the majority of the canvas details do focus heavy on the accurate shapes and such, I did opt for some fun colours & shapes for the detailing in the silhouettes & various other parts.
It has my signature, "S.Sweeney" plus the date of completion listed on the back for authentication, although I am in the works of procuring additional documentation for "certification of authenticaty" pages to include with each piece from inside my studios.
The painting + shipping and handling fees are figured into the full price, so the listing price will cover both! c:
Shipping to USA only at the moment - if you are out of country, do drop a note in my "contact" section and let me know your preffered method for shipping internationally, and we can absolutely work out something! International shipping will have an additional charge, however! I will not know until someone wishes to have something shipped outside of USA, but again, we can absolutely come to some form of agrement I am sure!
