hello there! I have been... very quiet. but, with good reason! I have been figuring out my current irl dilemmas and navigation through the legal paperwork for turning this site into a full fledged business. I have officially become "SWEENEY'S STUDIOS LLC" & will be updating my business cards and webpage in the near future to reflect this! Today I also added navigational buttons that stick to every page on the desktop version! I do intend to make a much simpler button system for the top of the page, but then again, it may just become a banner for misc. shenanigans. here in my art studio, shenanigans are encouraged. ANYWHO! BUSINESS IS NOW OPEN! I intended to have a lot more up on the sites store before my "offical launch" but c'est la vie. I currently do not accept paypal at this time, but this may change if paypal policies change - I have seen too many artists have bad experiences with paypal myself to feel up to taking that gamble aha. I only make exceptions on rare occasion to friends/family/people I have had good business history with, so, if you fall in that category, reach out to me and we'll figure it out! I am currently shifting my focus more into uploads again, but, I do have quite a lot on my plate that I would like to achieve in the forseable future. Depending on interest, I may create a forum on the site for members only to engage in art discussions and such, as well as for those listed on the "other awesome businesses" page to get to share more in depth on this page what they get to do, their stories, etc. - My ultimate goal with this site, this platform, this business of mine, is to bring people together through art. Just as much as I want to share my art with the world, I also want to share those who have artistic endevors as well on my page to help build each other up. SO, that being said, please do feel free to comment on here if you've got a small business and want to have it featured on my other business page! Please note, this is not a 100% guarentee of being listed, but an opportunity to be potentially added to the page - I only guarentee slots for close friends & for family member businessess, but, I do intend to also add a feature each month for other small businesses as well! keep an eye out for that feature (: all of this to say: if you are reading this & have gotten this far - THANK YOU for your time & energy, and I do sincerely hope you enjoy your time browsing my collective of artworks created over numerous years of life. One day this site will be much larger than it is now, but, all in due time. &&& of course, for those curious about upcoming listings, I still have easily over 40 unlisted acrylic paintings to finish doing a once-over double checking for mistakes in paint/quality and fixing (+ quite a few new van gogh inspired pieces to varnish, photograph, and list,) as well as 22 polymer clay sculptures that double as incense holders &/or necklaces, 3 sea pancake necklace charms, about 10 epoxy resin pieces (will be discounted/they're discoloured from age but still fully functional,) some UV resin keychains, and a few other misc. odds and ends. I also still need to do an inventory & photoshoot + labels for them, but, I have about 24 gemstone bracelets upcoming as well. I am shifting my focus from creating more bulk inventory & instead doing about a piece or two a week, but cateloging my studio area & all completed art pieces in need of listing/that are listed, providing them their necessary details like their name, price, and inventory log number. Once I have thoroughly sorted through everything & listed it all, I would like to begin focusing on getting art prints made of some of my most prized paintings and digital works, as well as keychains, and potentially even lanyards, shirts, iron on patches, and more! I have been going down the rabbit hole with research, so to speak, so, stay tuned! Big things are happening, so please be patient with me, as Sweeney's Studios LLC is a one-woman-owned-and-operated business. I handle 100% of the process from creating the art, the listings, photographs, promotional images, all the way down to sending you your art in the mail. All of this to say ~ I hope you guys enjoy! I will still be making changes here and there through the site and I am not satisified with the portfolio portion, and I also do not use social media (despite having handles for my art business on multiple platforms) so I am debating taking that page out, or incorporating the information into the "contact" page at the bottom. anywho, long ramble aside, big things are happening so be sure to become a member to make sure you don't miss an update! Hello all! The primary overhaul of SweeneysStudios.com and its pages have been completed! That being said, the shop still needs more pieces added to it, but, I was able to retrieve a TON of my old product photos off my old laptop & should be providing a big shop drop here soon! I have created some incentives for memberships, including a point based program. You will earn 10 crayons for every $1 spent, and can redeem 500 crayons for 10% off your entire order. I also have a referral program that, if you refer someone & they make a purchase, you will both receive 20% off of $50 or more coupons, as well as some points! My portfolio is still undergoing major construction + I am still in the process of cleaning, organizing, photographing, categorising, and listing all of my completed works, and thus, am still in the process of providing a more cohesive and full portfolio. Also! If you had your eyes on some of my old etsy pieces before I broke up with them (lol,) fear not! My current objective is to go through my old etsy listings tote (yes, i kept listed art in a separate tote) + matching the information to my personal logs + the pics, and then uploading those pieces first! Being able to provide a full shop + running a site + the social media + creating everything is a lot of work, so, I do juggle those quite frequently, as well as working around a full time job as a manager, so some updates are slower than others. This doesn’t mean they won’t happen! I hope to bring at least 20 items into my shop for the start of 2025 so I can share them all with you! Seeing as my current priority on here is shop/portfolio related, and irl is making my studio spaces all neat and tidy/functional, any additional shop updates will be slow for a little. Once certain milestones are hit, such as X# of items listed total, or all of XY or Z medium created this far have been listed, etc. I also still have to set up payment functions on my site still, so bare with me! I bought my domain and the storage space etc. before completion of said domain, simply to get the ball rolling. Once all of these things that are on my plate now are completed, I want to build up the members page section so those who have signed up &/or are repeat customers will have more features and such available to them! I have not completely confirmed yet, but, I am highly considering making a “members only” shop (have to research if that’s possible first tho lmao) where certain special items will be released, like custom gemstone bracelets, custom sculptures, and custom paintings, but this, again, is all up in the air at the moment. ANYWHO, all of that rambling to say - I do hope navigation of my webpage has become much more feasible & accessible to those who have been sneaking peaks! I did spend quite a lot more time than I realized just tweaking the functionality and visibility of both the desktop and the mobile versions, so, hopefully it is super easy for everyone to read, look at, and enjoy! Hello there, & WELCOME! I am the artist, writer, designer, web builder (excluding html; ty wix for their handy tools!), marketer, and person in charge of shipping your packages - or, to put it simply, I am a one-woman-shop! I officially obtained my own domain name on 12.20.2024, and have since already dedicated over 10 hours of work into rebuilding, rebranding, modifying, and adding to this site! I do hope to add plenty more in the upcoming week! and soon I will have some marketing stuff created as well, but, it is all a process. In the meantime, I do have a few pieces up on my shop, my credits, social media, and contact me pages up to date (for the most part!) and still plenty of gorgeous pieces for your viewing pleasure in my portfolio! I will be extensively editing my portfolio page as soon as possible, and adding upwards of 200 art pieces for sale in the upcoming months! There is not a current set date of which I will be posting pieces - at this current juncture, I am just compiling together all the photos I already have available of my completed, available works & uploading them as I have time. At this moment in time, however, I am currently focused more on refreshing my entire webpage, before I add to my current lists of sales. HOWEVER, there will be PLENTY of more affordable paintings, as well as hand painted/sculpted polymer clay sculptures and stickers that will be in a cheaper price range! I just happened to have really good product photos on-hand of some of my more detailed/time consuming art pieces! Anywho, all of this rambling to say, WELCOME! Today marks the official soft-launch of Sweeney’s Studio: An online digital portfolio experience. Many portions are still under construction, as I will continue to evolve and build up this website, and in the long run, I intend to separate my portfolio by digital and traditional works, as well as a third for all things craft related to make for easier access. Anyways, just a small bit for now, I hope everyone has a wonderful week, and don’t forget to stop and enjoy the finer things in life today.
